Money and Horses

Let's kill 2 birds with 1 stone, yes? (just a saying!:p) Remember we are still getting ready for the world! As you may know, you play games to earn money. You need money to buy horses.

TIP: Buy your horses from players, not the HL store. They are cheaper, though they may not be as young.

Go to the games area and select the game you want to play. It's going to be too hard to explain how to play all of the games here, but if you post on the guestbook, I will try my best to help you.

Now that we're on the subject, you might ask, what are other ways to earn money?

You might do a layout contest, sell layouts, sell horses, having other people to board horses at your stables, and like I said before, earn coins by playing games! If you go to the "Clubs" Section (By clicking on "community") a lot of the clubs will have contests for 500, 300, 10k, and maybe even 30k coins! That's all I can think of right now.

Anyway, when you either lose the game, win the game, or want to, you will be able to collect some coins. Collect a few coins, I'd say about 200-300 is fine. It's time to use our old friend, the menu. Click on find in the menu, and horses.

WHOA ...

What a lot to fill up! But you don't need to fill up the whole thing. Just say what breed you want*, whether you want a mare or stallion (optional), and that it has to be for sale. I recommend you also pick horses that are not for bid.

*= Do you have an idea of the horse breed you want?

At the bottom click on buy, if you have enough coins. If not, ask yourself, 'Do I really want this horse and earn more coins to buy it, or is a cheaper one good enough?'

Once he's yours, you may want to ride him. There's two ways to do that:

1. Click on "go" and "Change horse"

2. At the top right of your page, you will find your name, and "My horse" Click on the two arrows by "My horse"

I always use #2

Anyway, select the horse you just bought. Save.
